WHY WE LOVE THIS BAR...
A recent readdition to Chelsea’s famous King’s Road, the newly renovated The Cadogan Arms restores this much-loved institution to its former glory. The enduring, reimagined pub – the site of which has welcomed punters for two centuries – now serves up classic, seasonal British fare overseen by James Knappett, of two Michelin-star Kitchen Table in Fitzrovia. Food is paired with a carefully curated wine list (featuring a number of biodynamic beauties), a bespoke selection of craft beers on tap, and tweaks on classic cocktails.
Whilst the fare on offer is quite different from your usual local pub, something of the original Georgian design has been brought to the fore, with details including a wrought iron staircase, mosaic flooring, a hand-carved bar, and roaring fireplaces for the winter months. If you’re looking for a pub atmosphere with top-notch grub and stellar drinks, this one is well-worth a visit.
