Let yourself be guided downstairs by the very helpful staff in uniform, to uncover this steampunk’s dream-bar of Mr Fogg’s. Inside you’ll find wood-panelled walls, vintage leather seating and shelves laden with artefacts from his supposed travels. Lots of the spaces here can be hired, including the Map Room filled with globes, travel books and chintzy armchairs… or the most impressive part, the Train Carriage – a life-size model of a Victorian steam train that has its own bar and overlooks the rest of the action. The drinks here are a little on the experimental side, with fan-dangled creations being created using all manner of devices, but it’s a great find and perfect for groups.
