An absinthe bar hidden in a museum, which celebrates the curious and curiouser. The Last Tuesday Society is filled to the rafters with peculiar objects, taxidermy animals and an overall touch of macabre - and that’s even before you’ve stepped downstairs into the museum. Velvet banquettes, plenty of dark, candle-lit corners and a whole host of regular tastings and workshops make this - in our opinion - a brilliant first date spot. Tarot readings, lectures on unusual topics - and even on occasion, a séance - will give you plenty to talk about… Understandably everything on the menu includes a little la fée verte, but the hospitable staff will always be more than happy to mix up an off-menu classic instead, if you so wish. And if you can find the table with Leonora the Lioness then you’re in for a treat!
